28 June 2007

Today, I woke up as usual and ate my breakfast. I sat infront of my computer to update my email. When I was clicking on my emails, something caught my eye. The word " Friends " seems interesting to me. I clicked on it and I found out that this email was sent to me by a friend from Taiwan. I read the mail and I was touched by the words that she used. She said a lot of nice and encouraging words to me. I felt so encouraged by her mail and I replied to her saying that she is still my friend and I still remembered her. Everytime when I am feeling down I will open up this email and read it. After reading it, I will feel totally refreshed and I will also feel that there is a purpose in my existence. I spend the rest of my day playing computer game ith my online friends and I went to bed at 2am.

Yesterday, I just return home from a chalet at Orchird Country Club near Yishun. I fall asleep straight away because I was dead beat. Today, I woke up at 10am after I recieved a short message service from a friend of mine. He told me to go out with him to another chalet. I asked him when was it and he said that it was in the evening. I had to promised him because he was my best friend. Despite of my tiredness, I still went to the chalet with him. I was quite depressed at first. But after a few game of bowling I feel relaxed and started to enjoy the day. We had a lot of fun playing bowling and snooker. We play untill we were hungry and we would eat fried rice with chilli, together. It was a waste if I turned down his invitation to the chalet. I thanke him on my way back home for giving me a great day and also I thanked him for being such a good friend.

Today, I woke up at 4 in the afternoon thanks to a gaming competition that I went theday before. Although my team did not won the championship, we somehow managed to get the 3rd position. We were very happy and we decided that we go a have some fun and fellowship at Starbucks Coffee Shop. Everyone agreed and we head to our destination at 10:30pm. I ordered a mocha coffee and sat down with my friends and we had a chat. We spend our time there untill 3am in the morning. We then head back home to take a rest after a tired long day. I do not feel tired or exausted. So, after I reached home I sat down on my comfortable chair and turn on my computer. I played my favourite computer game : Defence of the Ancients untill my eyes are calling me to bed. I went to bed at 6am.

Today i went to Kuala Lumpur. My family suggested that we visit a large shopping centre when we first reached there. The shopping centre was called Berjaya Times Square. It was huge and there were a lot of shopping materials such as clothes, toys, plushies and even fastfood restaurants. I went there with my parents and also my brothers. They were very excited as it was their first time seeing such big buildings and so many toys. First, we went to the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) to fill up our stomach after the long trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. After eating, we went to the arcade and have much fun there. I also felt very happy as I won my brother at the basketball game. He keeps whining and dad suggest that we go visit the toys shop. We bought a lot of toys and plushies before we go back to our lovely hotel.

Comments on Japanese blog pal's career

Daisuke Kawae is 16 years old. His ambition is to become a cardiologist. Cardiologist is also known as a heart doctor. He had already planned to study and read all books about cardiologist. He also said that he will study hard and work hard to reach his goals. I think that being a cardiologist is quite a tough job. I would want to wish him good luck and all the best in his studies. Mayuko Uchida is 15 years old. Her ambition is to become a flight attendant which is also called stewardess. She understands that being a flight attendant is a hard task. This is because flight attendant have busy and complicated schedule. They always travel around the world inside the aeroplane with the pilot. They also serve food and drinks to the passenger inside the plane. I hope that she will achieve her dream in becoming a stewardess. Chinami Shibata is 16 years old and his ambition is to become an architect. To become an architect, it is necessary for that student to pass a first class authorized architect examination or the second class architect examination and a wooden, architectural examination. He said that being an architect holds a heavy responsibility because the house is designed and construct by the architect. If there is any accident the blame will goes to the architect. In conclusion, I think that 3 of my blog pals have a great career choice and i hope that they will achieve their dream and i wish them good luck in everything they do.

My comments on the Career Fair 2007

I attended the Career Fair this year on 2nd march 2007. It was held at Suntec City which is located near City Hall MRT station. The exhibition hall is on level 6 and it's a very big place to be. When I entered the hall, I was amazed and shocked by how big that hall is and I just felt proud to be a part of Singapore. This Career Fair is to help students and people who do not have a job to find their particular job and the job scope of that job. It also tells you what you might be in 10 to 20 years time. There are alot of courses in the exhibition hall to be chose such as courses on computer, businessmen, entrepreneur and much more. I am interested in computer science so I visited all the booths about computers and I found myself getting more and more interested in it. After visiting all the booths, I finally know that becoming a professional computer engineer is not a one day work. It needs alot of efforts to become one. That's why I decided to study hard now and I will try be the top student in the school. I look forward to the next Career Fair in the year 2008. I hope you will be here to join me, if you can. :D You can also find out more about this Career Fair here http://www.careerseries.com.sg/

My comments on the "Singapore Heartware" video

After watching the " Singapore Heartware " video, I feel that Singapore is a rather packed country. Most of the people in Singapore moved out to other countries to work and study because they think that Singapore is too small and they do not have the sense of belonging in Singapore. Why is this so? For me, I think that Singapore is a warm and caring country compared to Malaysia, which is more dangerous than Singapore itself. I am a Malaysian but i shifted to Singapore because I wanted to take on the education system in Singapore. After coming to Singapore, I felt more secure because every night I see police car patrolling around for our safety. People going out to work also thinks that they will earn more working outside than in Singapore. What's the use of earning a large sum of money when you will lose you home? I hope that those people working in other countries will remember where they are from and will return to their homeland.
